The apartment was big and had a street facing balcony.

It was a bit tricky to check in. Expect some crawling and frustration with fiddly locks. The apartment was just okay. I missed the crispness and cleanliness of a real hotel and had to fix a dead lamp. If I had not paid a deposit, I would have stayed elsewhere, there is an actual hotel (Dormero) next door and a nice one (Radisson Beke) across the Grand Boulevard. The apartment is an AirBnB in a city that is going to ban AirBnBs in 2026. The location was noisy, full of drunk tourist groups and stag night parties. The partying went on until late at night and someone rang the doorbell at 5 am. During the day, you could enjoy the practice session of a highly skilled classical musician. There is nothing local about this place, you are in the heart of mass tourism and will feel bad about being there and killing the neighborhood. Everyone I met in the building was a tourist in short term rentals. I spent most of my time on a meeting in a hotel and wish I had chosen to stay there. Do yourself a favor and pick an actual hotel.
