Located at a village with a mosque nearby
1. It wasnt fully airconditioned as stated 2. The kitchen utensila are not so clean 3. The floor is covered with torn mat with no proper maintenance. 4. The flat screen tv is just a 12 inch monitor 5. The property badly need a major maintenance

"very nice accommodation in the Raub"

We chose the accommodation, because we are birdwatchers and wanted to visit Bukit Fraser. And it was much more cheaper to commute every morning from Raub (by car) than to stay in Bukit Fraser itself (but it takes over 1 hour to get there). The accommodation was a large house next to a pond. It had everything we needed. In the evening it was nice to sit outside and listen to a muezzin from mosque nearby (I mean if you do not mind the muezzin which we dont). We met the host and his family once and they were so sweet I could not believe it. They even brought us some welcome snacks. We would definitelly stay there again.
The GPS coordinates on booking.com will send you to a neighboring street and it took some time and asking people around to find it. Also, the name of the homestay on the booking.com was DeVillage homestay but the sign on the homestay says Lakeside homestay. I would not mind but we were not sure whether we did not enter different homestay :) There were no toilet paper provided. And A/C is just in one room, so bear this in mind. It was more expensive than other accommodations we stayed in during our months in Malaysia. But it was worth it
