Luxury Apartment top location!

Very good location, 1min from the North part of Avenida Quinta and a few mins to the closest beach. Very spacious room with extremely comfortable super large bed. Room was very clean, well equipped kitchenette. Good working shower and comfortable bathroom, although it would be nice to have more towels and some floor mat. Air condition working and efficient, but we didn't use ot too much.

Very loud in the night, from cars on the street and music from some restaurants/parties - good ear plugs recommended. Check in process not really great. We didn't meet our host - after arriving we tried to sort out everything with lovely receptionist who didn't speak English though, so it was a bit problematic. Then we were kept for 15 mins in a hot corridor in the front of the room, until payment was confirmed - it was not really nice after 14 hours of exhausting travel...We were forced to pay £20 more than the price displayed on Booking.com, however after our request it was refunded a few days later. Before we left we've been told the check out is until 11am, although on Booking.com is check out til 12.00 - at the end we were allowed to leave before noon.

Location of this Unit is idea. Close to 5 Ave, and all the many restaurants. There are a number of Laundry services with in easy walking distance of the unit. Staff where very helpful, and friendly. Felt safe at all times day, and night. There was a very heavy Police presence always in the area.

Our united was located on the first floor facing a major road way. Traffic noise is loud, and constant. A bar is located adjacent to the Unit producing lots of people noise, and loud music. There is a car wash located directly across the the street of the Condo. It runs 12 hours a day, so lot of noise from Vacuums, and staff. It took my with and myself a number of nights to adapt to the street noise to be able to get a restful sleep. Stove in the Kitchen has two tiny burners which makes cooking any kind of decent meal a chore. Stove took one hour for a pot of water to boil to make spaghetti. With all that said it was a comfort to come back and relax.

Great place, new and clean, has everything you need! Easy check-in, someone always at the reception. You feel safe and comfortable. I will stay again!

Low water pressure in the bathroom

The apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained. The residential building was new and included a receptionist, who answered all our questions (we never met the host in person but he was reachable by phone).The kitchen and huge fridge served us perfectly to prepare a quick breakfast at home. Top location just one block from 5th Ave and close to a supermarket + a bakery. Surprisingly, we really enjoyed the rooftop pool and hung out there a couple of evenings after spending busy days in Playa del Carmen + surroundings. Highly recommended!

Overall, we liked everything! A few suggestions for improvement -- the shower doesn't have a door, so the bathroom floor is likely to get soaked with water. Additional towels, e.g. in the kitchen, would be nice as well as some basic spices such as salt.

Amazing place with everything you need. Pool area was lovely and Leo was very informative.

If you are a light sleeper then this may not the place for you but we did not mind it at all.
