I had a very upsetting experience with this homestay and I strongly do not recommend it. At first, everything was okay, but when I informed the host that my extended family (6 adults and 5 kids) might join, the host immediately charged RM100 per person, including for children. I politely asked if they could be flexible, but instead, the host became very pushy and insisted I make payment quickly. When I later confirmed that only 4 people would actually stay and asked for the check-in instruction, they refused to provide it. Instead, they cancelled my booking without warning, claiming “misconduct” and refused to give any refund at all. Even though I clearly stated we would follow the original booking (just 4 people), they still didn’t allow us to enter the house and left us with no place to stay. No check-in instructions were ever given even when I followed up politely. The host was rude, defensive, and treated me unfairly. There was no transparency in their policy, especially about child charges, and they acted very unprofessionally. Refund denied. House not accessible. No instructions given. This felt more like a trap than a real hospitality service.
