venue forgot about our booking, didn't respond for a long while after we request the code that hadn't been sent by our arrival time, then lied to say there was a flood and still didn't give us the code for over an hour when someone came to clean which is why they hadn't let us in as they had forgotten to clean. The clean was poor, the facilities were lacking including the bathroom door not even latching so had to be held shut when in use. The clean of the property was poor including dust in the oven that had been there months. The kitchen does not have enough crockery, cutlery for the 7 who could stay. You could do a basic cook but don't expect anything to prep things with. I have written a complaint to booking.com but currently they are not responding so don't expect them to help too.

Only one toilet for three double rooms of which the door didn’t shut let alone lock 😕 We had to use books to keep it closed. Couldn’t find any cups, eventually found in the dishwasher with lots of bubbles 🙈 looks like someone had put washing up liquid in it. Only 6 mugs for 8 people. The property was not clean, huge cobwebs everywhere complete with spiders 🕷️🕸️ Behind the bed on the top was disgusting. It was an extremely hot night and upstairs was unbearable. No windows to open & no fan.

Absolutely lovely place and very spacious. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here.

The property is set in the most stunning setting, the main room has been decorated and furnished well. The kitchen is cute and fits well on one of the stable blocks. The beds are comfortable.

Sadly most of the property feels like it is in the process of being decorated and remains unfurnished. The lift shaft is being used for decorating paraphernalia and upstairs is cordoned off with garden fence lattice the stairs are either old vinyl covered and out of place or industrial steel that whilst could be a feature look filthy and are covered in paint. The kitchen was woefully under stocked, not one wine glass matched the other. Very sad because the host/management company rep was lovely. No hair dryer in either bedroom.

Property is extremely cold during the winter months. There is heating however a building that large will be hard to keep warm maybe need few extra heaters and some blankets but as noted this would only be during the winter months in the summer I can imagine it would be 10/10

The building is amazing and the hosts are lovely. Fantastic place.

For me I felt there was so much potential that wasn't achieved.

The work was still in need of some completion to ongoing renovation works, some attention to the finer details still needing to be done.

The size of the house was great & a good location.
