Pearl Inn Green

Had a wonderful two night stay at Pearl Inn Green. Delightful, friendly owner who also ran the resort. Nilaveli beach a short walk away. Lovely, quiet place to relax and switch off for a couple of days. Very well appointed bathroom. Excellent value for money. Would stay again. Thank you 😊

El alojamiento cuenta con una buena localización cerca de la playa y el sitio es tranquilo y tiene potencial.

La cama no era muy cómoda, el baño no estaba limpio tenia muchas telarañas y arañas. Wifi inestable. Se echa en falta una carta con el menú y precios. La organización y gestión puede mejorar, el personal tiene motivación pero a veces eso no es suficiente.

Le propriétaire nous a aidé pour l'excursion à Pigeon Island.

Les salles de bains sont constamment mouillées car les canalisations fuient. Climatisation impossible à orienter. Communication avec le propriétaire difficile en anglais. On a regretté de ne pas avoir trouvé sur le bord de plage, un peu plus au sud.

Beautifully designed huts inside and out. Large bed, spacious bathroom and good air con. The host was on hand at any time of the day to help with whatever you needed. We had breakfast one morning of our stay here, which was a traditional Sri Lankan meal of string-hopper (cost 450 rupees extra for 2 people). It can be noisy at times in the night whether this is new guests arriving, dogs barking, or vechiles driving by, but this wasn’t something that bothered us too much (just to bear in mind). Shower is cold, but this is also like most places in Sri Lanka. Nilavelli beach is about 10-15 minute walk away Lots of local restaurants close by to eat at

We would advise not to make your full payment until you intend to check out as this is based on the exchange rate at the time/day. We were asked for extra money after paying because it had changed.

We had great time at this stay - so far the best experience of our tour-de-SriLanka. The place is simple and solid. Our landlord Adith (hope I got the spelling correct) was unbelievable - friendly, protective, amusing and helpful at all occasions, very good cook and expert on local cuisine and everything, and above all: he is a good man. We really felt like part of family :-). Thank you. We would return to this place anytime. Zdeněk, Ilona, Zuza, Robin.
