Pearl Inn Green

Wir haben uns bei Nirosh und Fernendo sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die beiden sind die liebenswürdigsten und warmherzigsten Menschen, denen ich seit langem begegnet bin. Während unseres 4 tägigen Aufenthalts ging es unserer Tochter gesundheitlich schlecht und die beiden haben sich so um sie gesorgt und uns umsorgt. Sie haben uns auch einen guten Arzt vermittelt, der unsere Tochter sogar kostenlos behandelt hat. Vielen, vielen Dank Nirosh! Wir haben auch den Strand genossen, der zu Fuß in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen ist. Dort gibt es nur wenige ausländische Touristen und man kann gut baden, das Meer ist warm und der Boden nur sehr flach abfallend. Wir können Pearl Inn Green mit seinen liebevollen, hilfsbereiten Gastgebern wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Gerne kommen wir eines Tages wieder! ;-)

Der Service war richtig toll und sehr zuvorkommend. Der Host war super nett und lustig und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

What can I say... we absolutely loved our stay at Pearl Inn Green. After backpacking Sri Lanka for three weeks, this was the highlight of our entire trip for two reasons: firstly, the hosts became our friends, and secondly, Nilaveli is the perfect location to relax and unwind without getting bored. We'd had a stressful journey to the accommodation due to a very persistent tuk-tuk driver, but the moment we arrived, our stress disappeared thanks to the lovely hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly and welcomed with refreshments of our choice, and they ensured that the driver left us alone. After this, we only used tuk-tuks arranged through Pearl Inn Green, and we had no further problems. Our bed and room were huge, much bigger than we expected. Everything was clean. The prices were fantastic and incredibly affordable, as the hosts do not believe in overcharging tourists, which was refreshing to see. We enjoyed multiple tasty meals, including string hoppers with chicken curry, and even CRAB! We happened to mention that we were eager to try the infamous Sri Lankan crab curry, and the following night, they prepared it for us, which truly shows how much they care about creating the perfect guest experience. The accommodation is authentic, simple, and peaceful, just a short walk from the beach. We travelled to Trincomale, which is a 20-minute tuk-tuk ride away, on one of the days to shop, visit the beautiful Hindu temples, and a deer park where you can pet and feed wild deer. I could go on and on about how much we loved our stay, but the highlight of it all was the wonderful hosts who were so easy to talk to. Every night, we enjoyed chatting with Niro and Fernando for hours, exchanging stories and discussing a variety of topics.

Una casetta adorabile in un posto a tema spiaggia che trasmette relax. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, il proprietario è stato fantastico, oltre a darci molteplici informazioni cucina benissimo. Con pochi dollari potrete avere delle colazioni/cene locali davvero squisite. Se passate a Nilaveli fermatevi assolutamente qui!

no words! host and house were both amazing! Starting from him, he has been wonderful. He helped us with everything, starting from day one until the end when even after check-out hours he has offered himself to keep our bags and even let us have a shower in another cottage! Other than that he was also very caring and spoke perfect english! The cottage was very clean and the bed super comfortable. There was air conditioning and a fan as well. It is located very close to the beach and pigeon island, which you can reach just by walking to the taxi boat service. An honorable mention goes also to the host’s beautiful and sweet cat, which we nicknamed romeo and to all the other animals surrounding the place!

There is no hot water but the water itself isn’t cold

Fernando was a super host, serving his famous coffee he showed great hospitality. Very attentive and caring.

Bear in mind it's a simple beach hut, reflecting the price.

I had a wonderful stay at Pearl Inn Green. The place was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax. The service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Everything was well arranged and made my stay enjoyable. Safe place and very near to Nilaveli Beach. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend Pearl Inn Green to anyone looking for a great experience.

Staying here was such a lovely experience! The hosts are genuinely warm and helpful, always making sure you feel at home. The cabanas are simple yet comfortable – perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet, with the added charm of village life all around. You might hear the early morning prayers from the nearby mosques, which adds a touch of local atmosphere. Breakfast ($2) and dinner ($3) are delicious and homemade, and they also offer laundry service ($3/kg) – very convenient! The rooms are bug-free with sealed windows, and at night you can watch bats swooping gracefully above the cabanas. The beach is just a 15-minute walk or a quick $1 tuk-tuk ride away. Nilaveli itself is a small, authentic village with plenty of local eateries, while Trincomalee (25 minutes away, about $10 by tuk-tuk) is the place to go for shopping. You can easily book rides with PickMe or simply ask the hosts to arrange a driver. It’s a wonderful spot if you’re looking to slow down, enjoy the simple life, and experience the real Sri Lanka. 🌸

Camera pulita, bagno "open air" grande, verandina davanti attrezzata con 2 sdraio. Possibilità di fare colazione (USD 2), pranzare o cenare (USD 3) in struttura che soprattutto per il prezzo pagato è andata oltre le mie aspettative. Chiacchiere piacevoli con il gestore, sempre gentile e disponibile.

La spiaggia, non vicina come mi aspettavo, è quella frequentata per lo più da locali. Colazione "minimal" rispetto a quanto offerto da altre strutture (ma prezzo contenuto, quindi ci può stare)
