South Ridge Inn

A very comfortable stay. This is an older former "Super 8" hotel evidently now owned by a family. They put money in it to refurbish it and spent wisely. The room & carpets were clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom updated with new toilet, sink, mirror, bathtub and shower head. When I first drove up I was a little skeptical of what I would find, but I was very happily surprised. Normally I would have stayed at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express, but with a concert and several games in town the prices for those rooms were over $250/night. I was in town for a model airplane contest and wasn't wanting to invest that much for two nights. South Ridge Inn provided great value for the cost, and I will try to stay here again next year if I make it to this contest then. Thank you South Ridge for a comfortable stay.

Old hotel, it's kept clean and you can see that it's being renovated. It's fine for a short stay.

Room was very dirty, VERY! Stains on the pillow cases and sheets, my daughter was too grossed out to use them. Dust everywhere, carpet needs to be thrown out. So disappointing, after paying $250 for one night.

Very convenient location! Staff was very nice. Breakfast room stayed open all day for access to food and snacks. The room was a bit dated and definitely wasn’t anything fancy, but it got the job done. It looked like the bathroom had been recently remodeled, and it was very nice. All the linens seemed clean, but definitely used/worn with some stains. It’s not the best place to spend time and lounge around, but it works just fine for sleeping. Overall, for the price point, we would stay here again.

It was a nice place to stop for a night on our way to Niagara Falls. Bed was comfortable and the check in was easy. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I’m not a snob but this was the nastiest property I’ve ever stayed at. It has an 8.0 rating on Expedia. This is listed as “very good” and this experience taught me that I cannot trust this rating because no one in their right mind would rate it this high. We rented two rooms. The carpet inside and out was filthy, the sheets were stained (looked like blood and God knows what else, the doors all need paint, and there are ROACHES (and probably bed bugs). There is a sign at the front desk stating that there are no refunds after check-in. The reason is that after you see the room, you will want a refund. The staff is nice, but renting rooms this dirty should be illegal. If you have any other option of where to stay, it’s going to be better than this.

Hotel was quite clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit run down, with a fresh coat of paint. Wifi did not reach my room

The room was very dirty. Although they did come in an change the sheets an pillows an towels an empty the dirty coffee pot i still feel like it is good to mention to others before your stay because I was so tired an before I could just shower an chill i had to deal with cleaning the tub an them coming in an out of the room and the refrigerator didnt work so they had to replace it as well. I do feel like if u pay for a room it should just be done when u get there. The Breakfast bar is open 24 hours but no pancakes until 6am to 9am so all they have is corn flake cereal and yougart for breakfast where other places have more options. Other than all that the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

The bathroom was very clean. The mattresses were firm and uncomfortable. The breakfast/cafeteria was disappointing. None of the dispensers worked. No water available, even for purchase. When we asked for extra towels, we were told that someone would bring them to our room but never showed up.
