South Ridge Inn

First time staying at this inn, and was consistently pleased with the experience. The property is a former Super 8. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly and gracious. My request for a first floor room was honored (there's no elevator.) The room was clean and comfortable, with an apartment-size fridge, microwave, extremely comfortable bed and very good wifi. A free breakfast is available although I didn't take advantage of it. Considering the busy area, just 20 miles outside Cleveland, my room was quiet & restful. There's a family restaurant across the parking lot and plenty of shopping & dining options nearby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room 130 is a joke, the ceiling is falling apart and the bed was only a full size, but I paid for a queen. Breakfast was limited and multiple things had a sign saying out of order on them like the hot water and the pancake maker.

Clean comfortable bed and room, nice little breakfast. Pancakes coffee juice tea muffins cereal. Good parking. Very nice friendly helping staff and front desk

Do not believe the pictures or positive reviews. We believe they were submitted by the property ownership since this hotel is horrible and the pictures do not represent how run down this property is. There is a reason they have a sign that states "No refunds after check-in". Sadly, it is there because once you check-in and see the room, you will want a refund. Points to know: - The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful - There were dead bugs under the mattress - The linens were dirty - The entire building smelled musty - My girlfriend and I both agreed that there was mold in the bathroom (not only did we see if, but our noses and eyes started itching within seconds of entering the room) - We did not feel safe saying there and found another room at a Best Western down the road - We question that the positive reviews were written by true travelers. I typically do not write reviews, but I felt obligated to warn everyone about how terrible this property is. If you book a room here, please ask to see the room before you check-in so you can still ask for a refund and find another clean and safe place to stay.

Place was gross, flies in the muffin tin, stains on multiple sets of sheets, carpet likely not vacuumed. Not sure how this place is still open, but the staff were friendly and accommodating regardless
