Sierra Sunset Cottage -Yosemite area vacation cottage

The house has everything we needed.

There’s no dishwasher in the house.

This lovely place surpassed our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to experience the area. It is quite and peaceful with an incredible front yard, fireplace, private parking. They had everything we could need stocked and ready: coffee, tea, pots/pan, plenty of dishes /glass/ paper cups, coffee maker, BBQ grill out side and Table Tennis . The house is clean and beds comfortable, towels and bed sheet is luxurious. We had great experience and diffentlly will come again.. Simply it felt like home away from home as I am spending my three weeks vacation in California and this was my best staying .. Thanks alot

No dish washer, no washing machine Important for hikers to know that the drive to the center of yosemite valley takes about one and a half hour.

We really liked it at Sierra Sunset Cottage. The house is spacious, comfortable and homely. From the kitchen to the wifi and the TV we did not miss a thing to make our stay a nice one. The house is well placed for trips into Yosemite, and nearby Oakhurst und Mariposa have supermarkets and many different restaurants.

The property was perfect for our family trip to the yosemitte area it is spacious, comfortable, and spotless. It was a wonderful property to stay in. Nestled between yosemitte and Sierra forest with close links to oakhurst and mariposa. A wonderful time was had at sierra sunset cottage, highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sierra Sunset Cottage. They thought of everything someone might need. Right down to the cold filtered water. The bed was so comfortable and is firm to medium firm. They have firm to soft pillows for options. They have plenty of towels. The wifi was perfect with no buffering. They have board games and ping-pong for entertainment. We would definitely stay again.

The owners made us feel like we were at home with their hospitality! There was coffee, milk, brownies, toiletries, water, anything you can imagine. There was a table tennis table, bbq, free parking, we had everything we needed! It was perfect!

The cottage was neatly decorated and the furniture gave off a very homey feeling. The couch seemed to be new and very comfy. The hosts placed board games and books / kids books in the shelves in the living room which we thought was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with coffee, coffee filters, filled ice trays and tin foil for BBQs. The area is off a main road but very quiet and cozy. We loved sitting outside infront of the cottage enjoyed the last few hours of sun of the day. Lastly, the property was very clean and Stephanie, the host, made sure to greet us in person and give us recommendations for good restaurants and coffee shops which we loved. Yosemite Park South Entrance is about 45min driving distance. Grocery stores like Raley‘s and restaurants are about 8min away by car. There are no available restaurants that deliver through doordash to the cottage as of June 2024 - we checked :D We loved our stay here and would highly recommend staying with Stephanie!
