Birmingham City Centre Apartment room near China Town

First and foremost, I must say I'm not one to review places that I've stayed at. However, I just had to say what's on my mind. The only good thing about this place is the heating.

Both the bathrooms had mould in it, and yes, the cleaner came to clean. However, the kitchen is never clean, hence why i never cooked inside. Inside the microwave looks disgusting, the fridge doesn't keep things cold enough. I only stayed for 8 days, and upon entry to the place, I found the scent wasn't pleasing at all. Someone went into my room when I wasn't there, and I knew because the bin was emptied and the room door was unlocked. Luckily, nothing for me got stolen. After all, it's just my clothes and makeup. Don't get me started on the socket. I charged my phone the first day I arrived. Everything was okay. On the other days, I had to charge it in the little living room they had or at my friends place. That place is a fire hazard. Both parts of the sockets are not working. And the staircase, oh God, the staircase needs to be cleaned. I'd never seen the day when I'd sleep on a sheet of plywood board. The room smelt horrible. For the price I paid, I was expecting a little bit more. I was staying at a better place for less the price I paid for this room. Wouldn't reccomend for long stays

As a female who was there alone, I felt unsafe to stay overnight on my own. It just gave me the creeps, so after seeing the place, I immediately left and went to stay on a hostel nearby, in which, yes, I slept in a shared room, but it was safe, clean and with 24/7 open reception and many friendly people around. The hostel is a much better option compared to this place, which was like haunted and scary to enter. Yes, it had a double-bed room, but the sound from the street and cars passing by could be heard all the time. The walls and the furniture were dirty and it felt unpleasant… and the whole entrance through a wooden door - without a single sign on the building to point this is the place with its name - and with a code system on the door, without a single soul around… it was just not my thing. Very bad choice to book it, but I’ll know for the future.

Decent sized room for the price, clean room.

Estaba muy sucio el baño, no nos dejaron toallas, la calefacción a partir de las 6 de la mañana dejaba de funcionar y la habitación se quedaba muy fría, en fin de semana no dejaban de pasar coches a gran velocidad a altas horas de la noche
