Both the place and the host are excellent. We were a family of 5 with 2 children aged 8 and 12. When we went to check out the houseboat, we were not sure if would stay there because it does not have the comfort of a traditional hotel. While we were contemplating whether to stay or not, the owner of the houseboat showed not one, but 5 different rooms which are exactly similar to what is seen in the listing and went to extra mile to assuage our concerns and assured he would do everything he could to make us comfortable. The owner has provided heaters to the room, in addition to warm water bottles to keep the children warm in the chilling night. Never counted how many times we took tea and Kawah because it was very cold in the winter. Breakfast was served just on time without us asking and the owner was always available in the whole time we spent in the boat. Since there are no other families during the time we stayed, we were offered to stay in 2 rooms for the price of just one room.

It appears no soundproofing for the houseboat, so when someone in an adjoining houseboat makes a call, we could literally hear.
