Gadea Boutique Hotel& Gadea Garden Italian Restaurant

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und lustig.Wir haben ohne Ende gelacht. Die haben für uns Taxi organisiert,einen Ausflug haben wir auch vor Ort gebucht.Es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Aparzmemt liegt nicht direkt am Strand aber ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Strand. Wur haben unsere Aufenthalt genoßen. .

The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful.

- It’s not a hotel as described - I wanted a hotel, thought I had booked a hotel due to the name but this is run more like an Airbnb / serviced apartment such as having lots of Airbnb style rules including before check in and limited staff available physically (with WhatsApp numbers available to contact them). Just an FYI for anyone expecting a hotel or flexible check in times. - Very limited privacy: The room doors are transparent so you have to use the curtain for privacy but they don’t fully cover the windows when draw. Also, the doors are not sound proof so you can hear literally everything outside as if you were there too, from conversations and noisy guests, to the rain and even drainage. - Hot water only worked on one day. - Mattress sinks. - Lots of ants in the room, could feel them when lying down on the bed, they were even in my bag after just a short time. I love nature and understand this happens when being in close proximity to nature, but I’ve been coming to Zanzibar for 10 years and haven’t experienced this before. - Lack of mosquito nets around the bed - this is Africa, it’s simply not enough to have sliding mosquito nets on the doors. Most of the mosquitoes have already gotten into the room by the time you close the door after entering, which is why most hotels have them around the bed and for good reason. I experience lots of bites so had to sleep with the covers over my head. - The access road needs to be fixed, I understand it may be the responsibility of the Authorities but they are clearly not doing to so the multi thousand and million $ beach front businesses that are snapping up the coastline and surrounding areas should come together and sort it out for themselves, their clients and the local community. It makes no sense to leave it as is. -- Edit: A very defensive response.

Nice hotel right on Jambiani beach. The proximity to the beach was a big advantage; the beach is very beautiful even in cloudy weather. Hotel staff (especially the manager Haji) was welcoming, facilitated transport, and responded quickly to requests. The hotel bed was comfortable and did not sag.

No tv, but that gives you the opportunity to focus more on the vacation and activities in Zanzibar. An on-site washing machine/dryer for guests would be a nice addition.

Close to the beach. Good location and really good food in the restaurant.

I can understand it was still rain season and very few toursits but when the sun came out the pool área with the sunbeds were not proporley prepared. Also I found no help in informing me about the surrounding área and things worth seeing or doing. The tide is very noticable here so having alternatives to explore the surroundings would have been great. Also no check-in after 9.30 pm. But really I am not complaining, these are things I think could be improved.

Mały kameralny hotel z kilkoma pokojami zapewnia bardzo dobry wypoczynek. Domowa atmosfera sprawia że czujesz sie jak w domu.Kilka kroków od plaży. Bezpieczna okolica jak i cały ZANZIZABR!!! Bardzo dobre śniadania i restauracja w obiekcie.

Przerwy w dostawie prądu.Nie jest to wina hotelu. Na szczescie obiekt posiada własny generator :)

Ett vackert litet hotell med så mycket personlighet. Redan vid konversationer med hotellet via Booking kände man i svaren att det fanns engagemang och att man var så välkommen! När vi anlände till hotellet visade det sig att det stämde!! Hela Team Gadea är helt fantastiska!! Så vänliga och trevliga! ….Ägarna och alla anställda och alla deras underbara katter (som förgyllde våran resa ytterligare), vi saknar er redan allihopa! Rummen var inredda både vackert och mysigt med en känsla som fångar Zanzibar. Vi hade en studielägenhet och hade poolen direkt utanför rummet vilket var perfekt. Hotellområde i sin helhet är jättemysigt, servicen perfekt, oklanderlig städning, fantastisk mat i deras restaurang och Anna-Lisa du är ett fantastisk värd/ägare. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka som vi aldrig kommer glömma!

L'hôtel est tres beau, le jardin et la décoration étaient magnifique et sélectionné avec beaucoup de soin par la gérante. Le personnel et la gérante étaient très accueillant. La propreté est irréprochable. Par contre je ne suis pas d'accord avec les autres commentaire, je trouve que le petit déjeuner était assez basique.

Quelques amélioration sont à prevoir à mon sens. Manque de mini réfrigérateur indispensable sous cette chaleur. Il y a un ventilateur au plafond qui est suffisant pour vu qu'il n' y ait pas de coupure d'électricité mais une climatisation apporterait beaucoup plus de confort. Quelques coupures de courant mais il y a un groupe électrogène, il serait mieux que dès une coupure, il prenne le relais car même peu de temps sans ventilateur et sans WiFi rend le séjour pénible.
