Meadowside, Troutbeck Bridge with offsite health club

The location was perfect. 20min or less from lots of family friendly attractions. Very comfy beds & seating area, liked the blankets as it was a bit chilly for us. Well stocked kitchen.

Would have liked something for rainy days at home, puzzles, books, something to keep kids busy. Or some outdoor toys to make the most of the meadow on your doorstep. It felt a bit basic for the price.

Spacious house, well equipped, lovely for a family to stay together, quiet area but not far to drive anywhere. Use of gym and swimming pool made the stay even better. Lovely owner and the communication was great. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great location for exploring the Lake District, it was quiet and although we didn’t manage to sit outside had a lovely garden and seating area. The house had the perfect living space for us including the kitchen which had everything we needed. Bedrooms were nicely decorated with comfy beds. The owners were really helpful too and kept in touch during our stay.

Just one thing - we struggled a bit with storage in the bathroom which is on the small side and perhaps isn’t yet at the same high standard as the rest of the house.

Super cute cottage-perfect for a family to visit the lake district. Walking distance to petrol station with grocer, easy access to buses and close to windermere. Very friendly car my kids loved. A Super responsive host for any and all questions. Access to the gym is great for those who need either a hottub post hike or an early morning workout.

Not super close to a town so if you're feeling a bit lazy not a lot of options for food if you dont have a car. Pillows could be better.

The cottage is conveniently located and both furnished and equipped to a high standard. A lot of thought has been put into the facilities provided and our family of 4 adults and 2 children spent a very comfortable weekend.

Clean and cozy property. Impressive kitchen that is fully equipped! The interior decoration is very nice. The gym access and Disney plus are bonuses. Location is good. Just a few minutes drive to Windermere station and town. A few buses stop at the main road. And it’s value for money! We had a flat tyre during our trip. The host was very kind to offer any help!

Location was amazing. Fantastic value for money. Incredibly spacious. Brilliant kitchen facilities, layout and kitchen / diner / lounge. Big field in front of property. Quiet. Lovely garden area. Comfy beds! Didn’t use snug type area but imagine fire is amazing in the winter. Super clean. Comfortable bed and bedding. Huge fridge / freezer. Great facilities for a long stay (such as integrated washer / dryer). Big TV able to link to Netflix etc.!

Only thing to comment on is the bathroom facilities - shower pressure great, not easily accessible for people who have difficulty stepping into a bath and the screen isn’t wide enough to stop water going on the floor.
