ZAZAProperty was easy to locate and gravel road in a very good condition. The hosts are amazing and even arranged for extra wood for the fire.

The e photos on Booking. Com's shows a table and 2 chairs inside the cabin, unfortunately there was not! Very inconvenient! Only the countertop for doing dishes, making food, and the gas stove was also on the countertop. We had to put our stuff and the floor. All the cutlery and dishes, dish up bowls were enamel. Couldn't put it in the microwave to defrost or heat up.

ZAZAWe wanted a quiet weekend away that is not *too* far from the Jhb area. We could only leave at 4, so we did catch a lot of traffic around Pretoria. The hosts were very accommodating with a slightly later check-in. I would recommend leaving earlier on the Friday, if at all possible, so you can get there before sunset. It wasn't as cold there, so doggos slept outside in the enclosed garden. We took them for walks early morning and late afternoon. We saw a number of buck during our afternoon walk. The buck were quite close, despite the doggos. Reinier mentioned that the unit is mostly used for stop-overs, but we would gladly go there again for a long weekend, or even a mid-week break, with one or two kitchen conveniences. The weather was really lovely for this time of year. The pool was blue and inviting. Would definitely try it out during summer. We contemplated taking our own camping chairs, but the chairs (both inside and outside) were very comfy, so they were not needed. The bed was also very comfy. An extra blanket was provided, but it might get a little cold on a very chilly night. Enjoyed a lovely view of the full moon. Unit has its own bathroom with a gas-powered shower. About 15 minutes away from an Astron with a small convenience store / take-away. If you are looking for some quiet time to recharge in a pretty environment, this is a great choice.
