UAThe location was good, the apartment building is new and there is a parking garage. The host provided clear check-in instructions. The check-in process was smooth.
The apartment looks like owners ran out of money midway through renovation. It lacks basic items such as cabinets or wardrobes in each room, there are not enough tables, chairs and outlets to accommodate a big family or a group of travelers. It feels like owners were rushing to rent the apartment out before it was properly equipped. A dishwasher door was ripped off and never reinstalled because no one cares. The kitchen has a coffee machine but it is useless because no coffee pods are provided. There is no basic welcome tea or water provided either. You need to go shopping right after checking in no matter how late you arrive. Worst of all, we specifically needed an apartment versus a hotel room to be able to cook but the apartment is totally unfit for this purpose as its power grid is incapable of handling an electric kettle and an oven running simultaneously! We had an outage and the host was unable to help us, he simply stopped responding to our messages. We were left with no kitchen appliances and half of the lighting wasn't working in the middle of the night. This was the worst rental experience in Budapest we ever had, and this was our 5th stay in this beautiful city.
