The WiFi in one of our villas refused to connect to the upstairs bedroom (this may have been a one off and the owner promptly offered to check).

Amazing apartment with private access to the beach. The view is sensational, let the days go by with the tides and the sound of waves. The decoration is very nice and it feels like home. Beach clubs and restaurant within walking distance. The host was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. This place is a secret gem !

This place is amazing. It is right on the main road, so anything that we needed was just a short walk away, and the property itself is immaculate. It is very big, very clean, has nice air conditioning, and a nice working TV. Additionally, it has 3 separate balconies (for the upstairs apartment); two that overlook the ocean, and one that overlooks the street. Moreover, there is a giant pool and restaurant right next to the apartment, as well as dozens of other excellent restaurants/hang-out spots right near the apartment. The thing that we loved most, however, was the view of the ocean; it is so close to the ocean that the water, literally, comes to the baser of steps of the apartment. It is unbelievable and the view of the sunrise in the morning is breathtaking. The last thing that is worth mentioning is the carefree and painless check-in and check-out. They set-up a self check-in system (just left the key in the lockbox on the porch when we arrived), and then when we left they briefly came over to say hi and thank you. It couldn't have been easier. Overall, out of all the places we stayed in Bali and Nusa Penida (over 5 different stays), this was by far the best one. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this stay for anyone who is going to spending time on the beautiful island of Nusa Penida!
