Detached House in Telford with Parking

Good location, great communication. Utensils and kitchen equipment good. Tea towels, and bits to wash dishes provided plus tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil. Kitchen towel, foil and cling film also available. Milk provided was mini UHT pots but these are sufficient for making a hot drink on arrival. Very cold first evening despite being warm when we arrived, we could feel a draft in the kitchen area but couldn't work out where it was coming from. Due to the nature of the heaters (electric) it took a while to warm up but once it was warm it stayed warm. Flooring hadn't been cleaned Very well before we arrived (bits of 'debris' visible) - only noticed on morning of leaving but there was a sweet on the floor under one of the beds by the leg. We didn't worry about letting the landlord know as it wasn't an issue but feel this needs to be raised. In the downstairs bedroom there isn't much space to move around the bed. The living area had 4 fold up chairs plus a freestanding upholstered chair, but if the beds were at full occupancy it would be hard to fit 5 at the table as it is set for 4 people. Sofa was a small 2 seater so one of the 3 of us had to sit on a kitchen chair or the single chair provided. The light next to the sofa was over the seat but this was movable thankfully We would suggest as the car park is no longer blocked (not sure if this will change) that a blind or curtain on the kitchen door would be useful as we felt a bit exposed in terms of privacy. As a group we felt it was suitable as a base if you're only coming back to eat and sleep but not to chill in during the day unless you're staying in your rooms due to the furniture in the living area

It was very clean and close to where we needed to be.

The place was tiny. We were a party of 3 colleagues, and it was just too small. 2 of us are over 6ft so the beds weren't long enough. There was no lounge or any comfortable seating. It was clearly made to let out, not live in.

Modern, clean, well presented and in a great location. Close to local amenities and town centre. The homeowner was very helpful and welcoming.

The heating was difficult to work without additional instruction (once it was working, the home warmed quickly). The upstairs shower didn't work, but the ground floor shower worked. The keybox is difficult to use. However, when mentioned to the homeowner (quite late at night), they had someone come out at the earliest convenience to fix it.

Comfortable accommodation. 2 bathrooms. Near to High Street. Lots of towels.

The lounge area is small - but since it was warm and sunny when we were there and not asleep, the outside space more than made up for that!

The corrispondence from the team was amazing, gave full information prior to our stay and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The property was excellent. Lovely clean and presentable place to stay. A brilliant place to stay and would highly recommend. We will be booking again, as it wasn't long enough. Thank you Faye and the team.
