Executive Escape in Downtown San Diego

Loved how spacious it was! Better than any hotel you would get and really is clean.

The parking is an issue. You will have to pay everyday. I suggest the host to make a deal with the parking company for your guest. Location is right on the street and more an office building than apartments. So very noisy because of the street traffic that’s in Hugh trafficked area for it. I would suggest getting sound proof windows for your guests and business moving forward. It would make it amazing :)

Easy walk to downtown restaurants, bars and shops. catching an Uber to conference centre cost around $10. Hosts were responsive. kitchen was well kitted out. Laundry facility was very useful for my week's stay. spacious living area.

minor issues: The proximity of the bedroom to the Broadway meant you hear some traffic and bus noise. wifi was fine in the apartment but struggled to reach the bedroom. No facility to store luggage after checking out, but there are options for paid storage nearby.

You might need to re-consider if you're having business trip. I've asked them to provide invoice for over a month but didn't get any reaponse.

The homeless problem was a bit scary at first, but then I got used to it. The place was fine, and the entrance was well lighted, and that issue has nothing to do with the property. So all in all, it was great.

The apartment itself is very comfortable: spacious, well furnished, touch of decoration that makes it feel better than just be in a random hotel. The contacts are super responsive: had a small ''problem'' with a couple of towels and they replied till late, and fix the morning after. Laundry with available detergent is a plus (although limited working time...probably because they use the same facility to clean the apartments' linen)

The biggest thing is completely outside of their control: the location (as much as many areas of San Diego and California in general) has a noticeable presence of homeless; it gives a feeling of insecurity. The area is also a bit noisy (the bedroom was on a street), but you know, is quite a central area in a big city, it's unavoidable. Otherwise, the biggest problem I had is that the shampoo was not great...so you know, quite good altogether. Not sure if mentioned in the description, but the entrance is not suitable for people with limited mobility (narrow stairs).

Unit was very clean and equipped. It is location is great for a dinner or a party.

The only issue is the homeless downstairs at all times of the day.
