Great house with luxurious outdoor spa

It was close to my brothers house.

The pictures do not accurately reflect the condition of the house. The laundry room had a bunch of stuff in front of the laundry machines. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and coffee grounds in the coffee machine. The garbage had not been removed and there was malodorous garbage under the sink. There were absolutely no instructions accompanying the house. For example, no WIFI instructions, no emergency contact information, no information about bus routes or restaurants. I have stayed in many rental properties and ALL of them had a booklet detailing local information and instructions about the house. There was virtually no storage space for clothes….we were there for 5 days and basically lived out of our suitcases. Every closet and drawer was jam packed full of stuff! Only after the booking fee had been processed were we advised that we were supposed to look after her cat ! There is no mention of a cat in the listing. Fortunately, we are cat friendly and do not suffer allergies. Many people are allergic and this is something that MUST be mentioned in the listing. The bedroom outside had a bunch of junk in the entrance way and had a very mouldy smell to it. It was not usable. A carpet in the kitchen had some dried cat vomit on it ! We tossed it outside and left it there. The spa was fine except half of the jets didn’t work. Again, there were no instructions on how to treat the spa after use. Basically, this house is not very clean and we did not feel comfortable cooking there. I spent 40 years owning restaurants and I have a very good idea of what clean should look like. My brother contacted the owner when we arrived and she was unwilling to help rectify the situation.

The owner was really kind and very helpful. Would highly recommend for a group of friend between 4-8 person.
