"Read my detailed review unless you like giving away money"

What I liked about it was that the owner took my money and then told me that someone already checked-in. I asked for my money back (as you would) and he gave me reasons why he can’t do it right away. It’s been 4 days and he has yet to give it back. Like my guy, you’re essentially buying my bad review for less than $100 (if he even keeps it at the end). I contacted Booking.com who said that they’ll only reimburse me around $30 of what I paid for. I could MAYBE see that as a possible solution but I LITERALLY didn’t get a room because someone was already in it but the owner still didn’t take the listing off of Booking.com. I get that mistakes happen and I’m pretty civil and it’s really only less than $100 so I’m not too mad. What rubbed me off the wrong way was the total disrespect towards me. I was civil in the texts and not once did I get irate. Instead, the owner has given me reasons why he can’t give me my money back. Yes it says non-refundable but my dude, you didn’t even give me a room. All you had to do was accept the waive for the cancellation fee. Anyways I’m getting my money back anyways because I already called my bank and now they’re just waiting for the owner to prove that he did give me at least a room (Hilarious) so I will win the CB case. All the owner did basically at the end is get this essay of a review telling people that he isn’t trustworthy.

I didn’t like how the owner thinks he’s a comedian who will take my money, tell me someone already got the room, tell me to cancel it (If I did I’d have no recourse since that would mean he gets the money/cancellation fee and that would be the end of it), and then when I realize what he’s trying to do and instead ask him to waive the cancellation fee, he gets skittish. See how he tries to tell me to cancel the booking? I knew something was up when he told me to straight up cancel it since that would mean he would keep the money and I would have no recourse. Though he wasn’t smart enough to realize that he’s messaging me through the website’s app so there would always be proof of his shenanigans.

The hotels prime location - it's conveniently located near the mall, offers a cozy bed, easy access to the train, and has a convenience store downstairs.

Our hotel experience was marred by a lack of cleanliness in the bathroom, incomplete kitchen equipment, and the staff neglecting to address our concerns and didn't bother us to assist/guide us on our way to the room.
