Modern Condo with Gorgeous Patio Views

Location is excellent for access to Disney World. Also very close to shops, supermarkets and Starbucks. Overall size is good for a 2 bedroom condo. AirCon worked fine.

We were very disappointed with this condo as it did not live up to the description in the Booking.com listing, indeed it fell way short. When we arrived we noticed that there was one armchair missing. When we notified of this we were told it had been dilapidated so had to be removed but they would not replace it. Moreover the remaining armchair and the sofa were so uncomfortable that it really spoilt our stay. You literally felt like you were sitting on the wooden frame as the cushion support was worn out. Also, there were no scatter cushions whatsoever despite many being shown in the listing photos. The double bed was also very comfortable with terrible quality sheets and bedding. The condo itself is NOT "modern" as advertised. It feels rather dated and the furnishings and appliances reflect this. Here are a few other issues we encountered: - the seats on the balcony not usable as they are so low and missing any cushions. - the balcony itself get's very little sunshine - just a bit in one corner in the early morning only. - curtains across the main patio window are too small so you can't fully cover the window, so not fully private. They are made of the thinnest opaque material. - Water pressure for the shower was fine but pressure for the bathroom sinks was terrible - just a dribble came out. Also, bathroom sinks didn't drain properly and needed a deep clean. - bath towels were small and very poor quality. - appliances & furnishings showing signs of age & wear and tear over the years. Both TV's are old and whilst they are "smart" they do not have the latest technology and apps. - very little cutlery and kitchen wares. We barely coped and were just a couple! - Condo was superficially clean though on closer inspection there were lots of signs and dust and dirt We reported our issues and initially got words of sympathy but no action.

Good value for the money, given the area and the time of year we stayed (Holidays.) Very secure. Pleasant engagements with everyone we met like: housekeeping, security, groundskeeping. The hosts were responsive and resolved the issues that we had during the stay (you always have to expect something to come up with a 1 week stay.)

First issue was that we were not given the needed code to access the property, and the security guards would not let us on property even though we had all of the other information like, confirmation number, unit number, access code to the unit. Security says this happens all the time; that the management companies forget to issue the QR access code for the gate. This was a MAJOR inconvenience because we had driven 2 days to get there, and then we're denied access. All we wanted to do was get in and rest...we were exhausted. Couldn't get hold of anyone, and boooking.com had to intervene...to the point where we were 30m away from being reassigned to another property (who know where that would have been.) The management company needs to pay attention to these details...they matter A LOT! Second (minor) issue: Can you provide a towel set per occupant that doesn't look like you bought it from the bottom shelf of wal*@rt 10 years ago? Paper thin and scratchy...I guess it's okay if you want to exfoliate. And, not a single hand towel included. Frankly, after a few days using a towel in FL, a new one is needed too. These are both very simple fixes, and in the grand scheme of things minor...if they're fixed.

Everything was clean, the location was great and the host was responsive.

More towels, hand towels and wash cloths would be wonderful.
