Cosy country cottage in rural location

Just the right cottage in just the right place for our regular stop to break the journey between Essex and Argyll (and back). Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped.

We love everything about it!

Lovely to be back again! The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We arrived on a chilly, wet evening, and the heating had been turned on for us so it was warm to come onto. We spent a cosy evening in front of the log burner , which was very effective. Comfy bed..

The only thing we didn’t like was not having our dog with us as usual - sadly she died 2 weeks ago 😢

Warm and cosy and well supplied with everything you would need. Milk was very appreciated.

Garden was unkempt with brambles across the path just where you wanted to get out of the car. Not secure for a dog, but I never let her off the lead just in case.

Great location as a base for walking. Lovely comfy cottage.

Owner proactively messaged to let me know how to gain access to the property.

Directions to the cottage could have been a little more detailed. We were travelling in the dark so did end up having to turn around on ourselves to find the right property.

We were very happy with this accommodation and would definitely book again when we next venture toi the North

Beautifully presented property with everything you need for a stay. Great to use a base for exploring, or stay in and relax. Host extremely helpful will be returning in the future. Clare & Scott
