Boutique Studio Apartment on Grand Ave

There were fans and AC that masked the stank smell. The wifi worked very well to conduct meetings online. The TV accepted at least my netflix.

When I booked it, booking.com said it slept 2-4 guests with a pull out sofa. There was no pull out sofa so my brother and sister in law had to then find a hotel. Also it is a super loud street (Car, buses) noise and people talking loudly on phones all day and night. Need noise cancelling headphones to sleep. When booking there was no mention of stairs. I am an older women with joint issues and if I had known there were stairs I would have never booked this. The water pressure in shower was very weak and there was a weird smell like sewage wafting in the place. Also parking was a huge problem given the location. The so called hot plate did not work. It turned on but didn't heat up. At least a toaster would be nice. The overall size is misrepresented in photos. It's good for one or two if you are a couple sleeping together.

Location. Well equipped apartment. Very cozy. Very clean. Bus stops nearby. Restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets in walking distance. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Overall very good place to stay. I would stay here again. The only problem we had was with the toilet, a little chain was loose and did not allow it to flush properly, we had to fix it every time it went loose.

This is a charming little apartment, with lots of small touches that are comparable to large chain properties. The bed was comfortable, and the entire place was clean. The owner was responsive to my problem but was unable to resolve it. They sent someone out to the apartment at 1:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning.

The baseboard heater in the bedroom did not function at all. The maintenance person's son was sent out at 1;00 AM on Thanksgiving morning to try to fix the problem but was unable to. He was going to purchase the needed part on Thursday, but the hardware stores were closed. It was very cold outside and therefore also inside, but we survived. The only other complaint is that the windows look out on a very busy, i.e., noisy street.

The mattress was very soft, but that's a question of individual taste.
