House wasn’t cleaned, beds and dirty dishes from last visitor. The cleaner forgot to clean property. My sister in law went round to put heating in for our arrival @ 2100hrs to find it not ready. I called the owner who got cleaner there. My sister in law sent photos to me of what she found and when we arrived the beds had same bedding on. Owner stated they were changed as she has sets of same. 🫩😞 After travelling for 5.5 hrs to get there I was a little disappointed. The whole property could benefit from a deep clean and some maintenance, back bedroom needs a bedside table & lamp. Bad draft from closed windows in front bedroom. Shower head was held in place with a zip tie. Extension cables across carpet due to limited plug sockets. Front bedroom needs on door needs planing and is hard to close. Back garden very over grown, the owner did warn us and stated it was having maintenance in Spring, this will be a a lovely property with TLC under taken.

Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed here for just one night. We needed to be in Hull for my daughter’s graduation. The house was cosy, warm and very clean. The hosts were friendly and welcoming . The house had its own driveway so no problem with parking.

It was a really handy location for us visiting our daughter. Dog friendly and off street parking. The beds were really comfy and for the location it was really quiet. No road noise or any noise generally considering how busy the area was.

The garden was really overgrown which was a shame as our sausage dog loves to have a sniff round outside, but it was way over her head. Just a few cleaning issues.. i must say the bathroom was spotless, but there was sticky fingerprints all down our mirror in the bedroom that had been missed and something red and sticky had been spilt in the kitchen and dripped through into the lounge. And a random cigarette had been dropped under the radiator cover. These were minor issues as it served a purpose perfectly for our visit.

Property was clean and easy to access

There was no towels so had to go out to buy.

Lovley warm house. Great parking. Host was very helpful. Also wifi what wasnt expecting but a great bonus. Comfortable mattresses. In a good location. On nice street

The bedrooms could of done with bedsides and lamps. In the second bedroom there was no lamp or besides in the room at all. Just a hanging rail and bed. In the main room there was one bedside and a lamp. Would of been better with one each side. As had nowhere to put books/phones. Only on the floor.

Kettle needs descaling toaster had not been cleaned for long time thick with crumbs. Radiator in bathroom did not work sink taps dripping. Needed heating on all night just a thin quilt on bed . Dustbins where all full. Location was ideal . Why is the cleaner not doing things or anything not working pass on to owners

Being able to park on the drive

The place was in need of a good clean and decorating. The mattress was too small for the bed and no pillow cases on the pillows. It was really cold on arrival as the windows had been left open. The back garden was very unkept and could use a lot of TLC

The house was cosy and it had everything you needed. It was good to have parking. There was WiFi and towels. The hosts were good at communicating with us. The kitchen was very well equipped and we liked having a gas hob. The fridge freezer was a good size and its nice to have a dog friendly back garden. Its in a very convinent area close to shops. We would stay again thankyou.

The water pressure in the bath was very poor but it was a very nice large bath. The house could do with some maintenance eg some of the inside door handles need fixing and the handle on the bedroom window. The grass could do with a trim as well, but it didn't effect us.
