"Fun and unique with perfect hosts"

This holiday home was really fun and uniquely decorated with 1950s furniture and Nik Naks. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and the towels were fluffy. It was perfectly situated for a night at Shepton Mallet Prison as well as exploring nearby Wells and Cheddar Gorge. The hosts Trev and Christine were so lovely. We broke down on our way to the property. Not only did they check on us, to make sure we were ok, because we missed our check in but they extended our stay in beautiful Somerset.

There is nothing not to like about this holiday home. I would definitely stay again.

"unique and personal"

was a unique and cheap place to stay with a good location if you drive and a great story

had no hot water until very late so cold showers all around. bed wasn’t great needs fixing to the wall otherwise every second you move it makes loud bangs through the night.

A clean well equipped house. The theme made it more fun for a family stay and gave the kids an insight into the 1950's era. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed.

Everything - the decor was fantastic. The gite was so very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying here we absolutely loved it. We had my 81 year old Mum with us and it made her so very happy to see all the reminders of the past so beautifully done. We plan on staying here on a regular basis and highly recommend it.
