Surfers and walkers cosy camping cabin

A perfect spot for whoever wants to unwind and recharge into nature... lovely hosts, very welcoming ,very helpful with everything, this stay has been a real trip to a hidden heaven ❤️ Thank you Kate and Angus so much for your warm welcome and for the great "Xmas" goodbye meal !!

Hosts lovely, welcoming, friendly, attentive The cabin called Africa.. in the hosts back garden above their house... up on the hill side in the woods was idyllic. The comfy sofa on the terrace a dream come true. The colour scheme and decor throughout is a delight.. an enchanting gold star bohemian design. Bed very comfy Kitchen facilities very good .. kettle.. toaster.. 2 ring cooker.. 1 pot.. 1frying pan... ice box etc Lots of electric power points and excellent wifi.. The stylish wooden Terrace overlooks the woods.. it is laced through with golden fairy lights and is a magical setting.

Unfortunately, on my 1st day, there was a continuous nasty toxic smell of a parrafin type fuel.. by 1 pm on the 2nd day I had had enuff.. I was ready to pack my bags and leave as it was so noxious.. coming in and out in drifts. I suddenly thought that there must be a fuel leak somewhere and went to see my hosts to express my fears. Andy apologised and said that it was their oil fueled range and that the wind sometimes carried the smell around. He said that he would lower the system and sure enuff I was no longer troubled by the fumes for the rest of that day. On reflection.. there was no wind that day, and then ...I noticed that their house chimney was directly below my terrace.. about 30 feet below, and it is inevitable that this would be an ongoing problem for any guests if the system was on a higher setting. I don't like complaining and I'm sure many people on holidays are shy about speaking up.. but for the greater good, I hope Kate and Andy will appreciate me pointing out this problem and keep their settings low when they have guests. Fumes will drift up! I also would recommend a safety rail on the first set of steps beside.. Kates' new flower bed.. the reason being.. At night in the pouring rain... the wet shrubs are overhanging the steps.. causing one to lean away... In the middle of the night going to the toilet.. one can be a bit sleepy and the steps are wet.. This can be a hazzard.

Shower floor became very slippery when wet.

Wow, what a stunning location. Perfect for relaxing. Wildlife, only a 10 min walk to the beach, tracks n trails everywhere to explore, was just lovely. Cabin was quirky and very comfortable. Had everything I needed. Owners very friendly and lovely pub 5 mins away. Definately come back

The safety getting up to the accommodation .no electric to shower cubicle .no light down the hillside side to shower with no railings.it is basically a shed with a bed
