Barclay House, Stonehaven Seaside Home

A very comfortable stay in a stylish property. Everything was there that we needed for a short stay. We thought it was very good value for money. Stonehaven is a lovely town with very friendly locals. We enjoyed visiting Dunnottar Castle and Woods which are very close by and the beach is a short stroll away. Dog friendly property although our elderly dogs found the laminate floor a bit slippery so we were glad we brought an extra runner with us. Nice outdoor area which would be particularly great in the summertime. Well equipped kitchen with nice utensils, pots, pans etc. Nice fluffy towels and a great shower.

Nothing major that would stop us returning. We would have preferred to have had terrestrial TV stations available as we like to see the BBC news in the evening and have the option of watching something other than box sets and the like on apps.

teilweise war die Wohnung nicht gut gereinigt. Unter dem Esstisch z.B. nich sichtbar die Reste vom Vorvorgänger...

Casa moderna, pulita e molto confortevole (buon programma di intrattenimento). Ottima posizione anche rispetto al supermercato. Facilita' di parcheggio gratuito nella strada davanti casa.

Fabulous location. Well equipped. Perfect for our stay.

Small point the shower is a struggle for a tall person i.e 6ft 4 for the main shower head.

The location was excellent. It was very comfy and clean. We loved the shower and the outdoor space. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is a large, beautifully decorated flat with almost everything you need. Walking distance to all the shops, bars and eating places. Comfortable beds and a safe garden for our dog.

There were no welcoming touches like milk or biscuits, which most self-catering places provide, and too many overpowering reed diffusers in the flat. Garden furniture was a picnic bench, which was a shame as it's a real sunspot and it would be lovely if there were comfortable chairs to sit out on. The huge TV doesn't have any channels, only apps. Not great if you want to catch up with news or regular programmes. Not sure it was great value for money compared to many similar places we have stayed in with booking.com.

Location was good for leisure centre and town. The apartment was super, clean and all facilities were good. Lovely shower and garden. Locals were so friendly. Ideal for the supermarket!

Bit disappointed that the open air swimming pool had changed its opening dates and opened the day we left as the location was chosen for this facility disappointing!

Location excellent. Close to shops and amenities. Close to beach and inland walks. Plenty choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

The apartment had a strong and overpowering smell of room fresheners. Something a bit more subtle and less synthetic and pungent would be preferable. We had to put the diffusers outside to give us respite! A minor issue was the difficulty in finding the switch for the downlighters in the kitchen under the wall units. I searched and searched, but still couldn't find it.
