Not one thing we did not like.

Questo hotel è perfetto. Ristorante con piatti buonissimi, piscina bellissima e tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli con una pulizia impeccabile. Il personale è super gentile e ti fa sentire come a casa. Un soggiorno qui è davvero rilassante e indimenticabile! Sono disponibili anche massaggi in camera e room service a ogni ora. Altamente consigliato!

Friendly staff. Beautiful fish pond and pool setting. I liked the porch outside our room.

The location wasn’t good. There were no vaguely touristy restaurants or shops outside the villa (except their own restaurant). The sewage smell in the bathroom negates all the positive aspects of the bathroom. There was no reception area. Only five rooms.

Ade (staff) was very helpful as we wanted to split our stay to go trekking and they looked after our luggage, organised transport etc. until we came back. Food comes from the restaurant next door. Very good. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with a nice big bath.

Not a dislike as it is mentioned on the website but a new property is being built opposite and the noise is all day. Luckily they don’t start too early. It is possible to walk into Ubud but there is no real pavement so walking is not easy. Check your booking to see if breakfast is included. The restaurant does a nice breakfast.

Erg mooie omgeving en heel netjes aangelegd. Voelt heel authentiek aan en kleurencombinatie van het hout, de planten en de bomen met het zwembad geven echt een uitheems vakantiegevoel.

De handdouche was kapot bij aankomst. Deze was overigens snel gerepareerd. Ook liep het water in de douche niet weg. Dat duurde ruim een dag om te fixen, dat was jammer. Ook konden we geen flesjes water kopen bij het villapark. We moesten hiervoor een taxi bestellen om naar de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt te gaan.

This is a very small and cosy lodge, only 5 or 6 villas. It is clean and the grounds are well maintained by the staff. Each villa has a nice terrace area to sit outside, the pool area is small, with only 4 sunbeds, pool was clean and nice to have somewhere to cool down. The room has good air conditioning and mosquito nets to stop you getting eaten alive- it would have been nice if the staff sprayed the rooms to help with this, but this was not done. A nice touch with the high quality Kimonos in the room. ( I would have happily bought one of these to take home)

Unfortunately there is a lot of building work going on throughout the day as they are building more lodges and extending the place, it started as early as 5am, and the wooden lodges have very little to no sound protection, so what should have been a peaceful tranquil place was quite the opposite. Breakfast was also a bit restricted which we found strange, we had to order the day before which was fine, but then you could have either fruit juice or fruit and yogurt, not both, and fruit juice was the only cold drink, we had to pay extra for water… the food itself was ok, and plenty of it. The location is in the middle of nowhere.. very little around the place, and a good 15 mins drive away from Ubud for shops and restaurants etc.. we used grab a lot so taxis were cheap, but the traffic around Ubud is crazy busy, so it was nice to be in a place away from the traffic chaos, but for us a bit to far out, and with the building work not very quiet either. Finally make sure you don’t break anything! We accidentally broke a cup, which we would have paid to replace, however instead of removing the broken cup and replacing it, the dirty broken cup was left out all the time we stayed as a reminder that we’d broken it,,and meaning we both could not make ourselves a drink in the room… we didn’t end up paying by way of compensation for the noise, but just a strange way that this was handled.

The tastes of the food of restaurant, fruits in the room that they give the first day, complimentary daily waters, cleanliness, decoration and nature and scenery, the staff were great. Tea and coffee and kettle in the room is a big plus. Hair dryer, all the soaps and even bath foam/bath salt is considered by the hotel,very nice. Live music in some evenings at the bar was very good. Floating breakfast as an option with extra payment is also nice. It was also good that we could contact the manager/onduty person all hours.

Unfortunately there was a construction every day for several hours in the places nearby. Lawnmowers from around worked non-stop too. These noises were not made by the hotel maybe but still made the comfort less. We couldn't have some of our breakfasts that we already pre-paid because of our tour schedules for some days, we requested having them as a meal pack. We were given only fruit juice, coffee , 2 slices of bread, small croissant , small jam/ butter and sliced fruit. We didn't get a boiled egg or sausage that we can actually get if we had the breakfast in the hotel. Our dirty towels were taken in daily room make up but weren't given properly back. Cabin number 1 is next to the workers' resting area. We stayed in Cabin 1. All the staff's talk was heard clearly inside the room, probably our talks in the room could also be heard by them. There must be another place that the workers/maid rest. Because the walls are not soundproof. Finally, if one day they want to change the safe box/chest boxes in the room then bigger boxes can be nice to put laptops in too.
