Location excellent 4 mins by car to Bowness and 2 mins to the centre of Windermer

Should be a blind in kitchen window and no descent frying pans or wooden spoons to cook

No breakfast included, the location is great! The facility is very good and the landlord is very considerate in providing the utensils in the kitchen.

1. Temperature control should be adjusted separately in each room. 2. It will be great to have aluminum foil in the kitchen, soap and facial tissue in the bathroom.

Easy check in/check out with lock box. Nice terrace house within a 8-10 minute walk of Windermere centre. Living areas, whilst compact, were suitable for our group of 6 - 3 adults, 3 children (although only dining chairs for 4). Good sized bedrooms, 2 with smart TVs which provided flexibility when the kids wanted to watch something else. Large family bathroom and small en-suite. Nice modern well kempt furnishings and decoration. Kitchen well equipped incl dual oven, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine etc (although addition of microwave would be good). Log burner (need to buy logs yourself). Excellent central heating and hot water. Small courtyard garden. I was worried about parking as there is no designated space, only street parking but this was not a problem - we parked easily outside the house at different times of the day. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Nothing not to like - addition of 2 extra dining chairs, microwave and a potato masher would be good :o)

The property is beautifully renovated and decorated, very modern yet cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Some books and games were provided in the lounge area. Great porch with hooks and bench to pop shoes under. The two double bedrooms were large with great storage. The en-suite was great. The twin room was comfy. The whole house is spotlessly clean. Loved the little back yard too. The hosts provided lots of information and everything was easy. The location is wonderful, a short walk into Windermere and a slightly longer walk into Bowness. Parking was really easy on the street

The kitchen lights are a bit low, heads kept getting bumped. That said, the 2 males in our group are 6ft 4!
