Camping Pods Silver Sands Holiday Park

Location excellent very cute and exciting for the kids

It was filthy when we arrived despite waiting over an hour to get into the property

Pods were cosy and warm even with storm floris blowing a gale!

Curtains didn’t really block out that much light in the morning.

Great location

The light wouldn’t turn off. We eventually managed to turn it off and ten mins later it turned back on. The switch was broken so this interrupted our sleep.

Pods looked nice from outside

There was no TV, no kettle, no fridge, no microwave or any other simple amenity

Location is amazing Pods are lovely especially having our own toilet/shower.

Having to queue at 8.30 am to book swimming. Very expensive for food and drinks from shop and bar/restaurant. No fire pit or outside seating at pod.

The pods were in a nice location with not an awful amount of distance from the showers/toilets. The site itself was beautiful and loved being right next to the coast and the view of the lighthouse. I would stay again if the below was improved upon. They do get hot, but I read reviews previously and brought a fan which solved the problem.

The room was mostly clean but the floor had dried liquids on it and you could tell it had been mopped but not hoovered as there was dirt all around the floor in the corners and there was fluff under the beds that was coming out onto the open floor. The communal toilets need cleaning more frequently, particularly in the afternoons as they would get very messy and some would be unusable. This made me dread using the showers, however this was a pleasant experience. Due to this I do believe it was overpriced.
