we received the warmest of welcomes, full explanation of the site. Clean, and homely Shepherds huts, lots of space to relax, not overlooked, excellent facilities, and exceptional hosts. True Value for money.

It made me really comfortable that there was nobody else there just my girlfriend and I. We felt really comfortable ,like the whole space was just ours. Everything was explained clearly , the place was clean , the hot tub was amazing , they even fired up the grill before we arrived, all we had to do was put some meat on it. The fact that there was no internet connection was also a huge plus , we felt disconnected from everything and we could really enjoy the moment and peace that the place provided. It was magical .

The place is remote , public transportation is a bit harder than usual , we went on Easter Sunday and Monday so there were no buses at all , this is nobody's fault of course. If you plan to visit , expect some improvisation.

"Absolutely lovely accommodation for a peaceful ‘off the grid’ getaway"

Really lovely stay. Peaceful location and walking distance to Castle Combe village. Accommodation is comfortable and our host went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

As it is quite ‘off the grid’ you can’t charge phones so had to do this in the local pubs/restaurants. Lots of ladybirds looking for warmth in the huts (probably just the time of year we visited) so probably best you’re okay with bugs!
