beautiful location extremely clean and felt homely alison even left us some milk to have a tea which was a godsend due to arriving at 11pm great communication from alison too, made me feel safe and at ease.

i expected to be able to have a bath which the hot water wasn’t enough for that even with a boost nevertheless a shower was lovely and hot! also the internet didnt come up an option but we watched films on itv2! - nothing i didn’t like, just a couple of convenience pointers

Would have been fab to have a mini dishwasher , I didn’t like the air fresheners in each room as I found them over powering

The lake view was excellent. The mattresses and bedding were of good quality. The furnishings were comfortable. There were hooks to hang towels / clothes on. Hand soap and washing up liquid was provided. The kitchen equipment was useable and clean. The entire place was clean. It felt as though we were staying in a well appointed / looked after get away, rather than a paired back holiday let. It felt as though the owners cared about the place.

Although we connected to the wifi provided, we couldn’t draw any data from it. This wasn’t the end of the world by any means, but given that our mobile internet reception barely worked onsite, it would’ve been helpful. Obviously it would’ve been a problem if we had to work and were counting on it.

It was really cold when I arrived and took a while to warm up but apart from that it was great.
