Anemelo house by the Kontogialos beach

Mooi gelegen huisje met een leuke tuin met grote olijfbomen. Bijna direct gelegen aan het strand. Alles om het leven makkelijk te maken is er. Vriezer, koelkast, wasmachine , haard, oven, microwave, föhn. Daarvoor zou het een dikke 10 verdienen. Lijkt me eerder geschikt voor een groep of een gezin met kinderen.

Toen wij aankwamen rook het huis schimmelig en er hing een rioollucht in het huisje. Misschien waren wij de eerste gasten na een regenachtige periode. Dit de host meegedeeld die meedeelde dat het huisje niet naar schimmel maar naar hout rook. Huisje niet schoon en ongezellig ingericht. Parkeerplaats schuin tegenover zorgt ervoor dat bij mooi weer en drukte de tuin naar uitlaatgassen ruikt. Kasten volgepropt met items van de verhuurder. Daardoor weinig kastruimte.

Aunque la ubicación es muy buena, el acceso a Kontogialos es terrible, la carretera está llena de baches, deformada, y con el asfalto roto.

Dicht bij het strand. Nikos was zeer vriendelijk en regelde vlot een taxi voor ons.

De keuken was niet zo goed uitgerust. Geen snijplank, geen kruiden.

Domek je obklopený zelení, kousíček od pláže. Nikos je výborný hostitiel.

What is not to love about this rustic little summerhouse, 3-minute walk from the beautiful Pelekas beach. Imagine sitting among olive, banana, and fig trees, reading a book while lying on a hammock overlooking the sea in your own little garden. Private parking and sooo close to the sea. We watched as others had to hike up a steep hill after a day at the beach. Could see them looking with envy. The host was awesome, answering every question almost immediately. Facilities were great, the only thing the kitchen needed was maybe a cutting board. Really useful with a washing machine! A/C in the bedrooms was excellent, and the rest of the house actually stays relatively cool even in the heat so we only used A/C when sleeping at night. Just keep the shutters closed during the day. Beach is fantastic soft sand and clear waters with rocks for exploring and snorkelling. Only wish we had stayed longer.

The accommodation itself was excellent, but as others have mentioned, the road leading to and from it can be quite challenging. There are some stretches that only allow one car to pass, so be prepared to pull over when necessary. We drove up and down every day without too many issues, but just remember to take it slowly. We rented an automatic car, which is highly recommended for navigating the road.

Ubytování bylo velmi příjemné, čisté a plně vybavené. Majitel je velice vstřícný a ochotný. Ubytování můžu vřele doporučit.

The house is good, the host most helpful, and the location is excellent. We travelled a lot during our stay, but the shallow long sandy beach outside this house is the best of all. It has wonderful restaurants just a short walk away and good crowd, just enough people not too many like some other near the town.

The parking into apartment, it is on a slope with a tight entry into a gate. It may be OK for small car but medium sized car struggle. And as there are retaurants in the neighbourhood they do not want your car parked outside.
