Quality of the accommodation

Nothing really

The home was extremely comfortable, ample room for everyone to congregate together whether having dinner or lounging on the sofa Very well equipped so there was no issue to cater for yourself. Location was great, it is not right next to the beach, but the public transport is fantastic - very regular services so we got the bus everywhere! I would highly recommend

The only possible downside is there is no garden, but we were out and about most of the time so this really is not a big deal

This was a great property in which to get together over the Christmas holiday with our family of 8 adults and 2 children, both under 4 years old. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for us to self cater our Christmas meal.

A few little niggles but nothing too big to detract from our overall comfort.

We had a great time at Sally Hall. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Portland was really interesting. The highlights were Chesil beach and seeing the signets at Abbotsbury Swannery and the weather which was amazing. Check in was easy and communication was helpful and prompt.

There’s no garden which is a shame, particularly as we had lovely weather, although that’s clear in the listing and there’s easy access to the beach and lovely local walks around the island.

Stylish , spacious and well set out, especially the living area. Well equipped , warm and cosy. All enjoyed the space, never felt on top of each other.

Issue with beds - would of liked twin beds in 2 of the rooms, although , this was possible we didn’t have the bedding for the 2 extra singles. Ended up mum and daughter, dad and son sleeping together, not a problem but would of been good to have been able to have sorted. Sofa bed - more like a day bed, was comfortable but definitely for only one person. Do think for hygiene purposes there should be a topper under the sheet as directly on settee!
