Lovely Cosy Apartment near Water Parks

The hallway smelled of damp , it was cold The velux window up the stairs to the apartment main entrance door was covered In mould and cobwebs , When using the water the pump was very noisy, the apartment needs an urgent upgrade It is showing its age in furnishings and decoration..

The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood and close to the water parks and Cirencester. The apartment is definitely cosy as advertised. It's a good size for a couple with a nice living area, comfy sofas, comfortable bed, a well appointed kitchen and a good shower. It's an upstairs apartment in a good area and we had no noise from the neighbours. The dedicated parking space next to the front door was great for unloading. We found the Co-Op close by to be very useful. It was a perfect location and base for the trip that we had planned around the local area to do some walking, canoeing and sight seeing.

It wasn't as clean as we expected and my partner had to wipe some surfaces to remove dust and clean the bathroom and kitchen on arrival. A curry take-away half eaten was left in the fridge. The hand wash in the kitchen was empty and there was no hand wash in the bathroom. A single toilet roll was provided and no spares - we had to buy some more which is no issue but at this price point a little dissappointing. The Sky TV was limited and even basic programmes like Film 4 needed a PIN code (not provided). The owner did advise that we could use the Firestick provided but batteries were missing from the handset unfortunately. The shelves over the bed are a hazard and serve no real purpose. I hit my head on them twice during my stay as the bed is pushed against the wall with shelves directly overhead. Strangely there was no hot water from the bathroom or kitchen taps which was not ideal for washing pots. These are all minor points and did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay but points for improvement.

The location was ideal for us.

Misplaced key code and tried to contact host but had to leave voice luckily managed to find code so not a problem (we were later arriving than expected) If the entrance way is owned by the host could do with the sky light cleaning if not I would get them to ask the owner to have it done has an initial view it wasnt to good. Fringe door was also an issue .
