Mahesa Ubud Villa by Best Living

The property is great - there are 3 large bedrooms with en-suites and a good working kitchen and a living room - the rooms are air conditioned while the living spaces like kitchen and living room have fans - the staff are really nice and try their best. The price is excellent for such a large place. The villa staff are so nice and they helped organize my laundry pickup and drop off.

It is slightly far from Ubud - it's about 20-30 minutes in a car if you're trying to get into Ubud - which is fine, just prepare for it. Grabs and Gojecks do not know where this villa is so you have to type in close to/near the street it's located on. The entrance is far from the road so you do need to walk 50m to the road - it's fine, all paved just not lit at night and loads of dogs around - all friendly but not great if you're scared of dogs. I think they have growing pains - the house is cleaned once every 3 days and the towels are changed once every 3 days - for a family with young children, this doesn't work for me. They didn't have a baby cot or high chair, so I had to rent one for an exorbitant price - but that's fine. I had an issue with the trash not being taken out daily but we sorted it with communication with the villa manager. He tries his best to be responsive. There aren't amenities like pool towels, hair dryers or umbrellas and no hand towels or kitchen towels. They do provide tissue and toilet roll so thats good - all in all, a good stay.

Being met at the front gate with the key in hand and a smile on his face. He was very responsive with his replies as well as being very helpful with all and any needs we required. Thank you so very much for the hospitality and the beautiful villa.
