Cozy apartment near Palermo Cathedral

The location was around the corner from the Duomo. Though a decent walk from the station which unfortunately Google maps took me up a long cobblestones path where it would have been much easier on the main corso so I didn’t have to drag my heavy suitcase

I struggled with the key to the front door of the apartment. I didn’t have the strength in my hand to unlock it. The owner did try to help to no avail. We found a solution which worked for me. I could lock the bedroom door so my belongings were safe and I didn’t fully close the door. Only 1 other apartment on ground floor as well as needing a key to get in from the corso made it safe.

Appartement sécurisé superbement situé en plein centre mais dans une rue adjacente au calme. A 2 min vous trouverez une pharmacie, marché, kiosque pour prendre un café ou spritz.un logement propre et bien équipé plutôt pour un couple. Et enfin Nicola est un hôte merveilleux, très réactif,sympa attentionné A recommander sans hésitation !

Il faut juste savoir que l' appartement est en rez de chaussé : tant que la clim n'est pas allumée, quand on rentre de balade ,il fait un peu humide Mais sinon tout était top!

- L'appartement est très bien placé. Il est au calme et à 3 minutes à pieds des commerces et des rues animées, sans nuisances sonores des personnes exterieures. - l'appartement est propre et il y a tout ce qu'il faut. - les propriétaires sont très accessibles par messages. J'ai eu du mal à régler la clim, ils n'ont pas hésité à me proposer de m'aider. Elle fonctionne très bien. - la literie est confortable, et les draps propres. - Il y a un parking 2 roues avec caméras accolé

- Il n'y a pas de volet aux fenêtres (comme dans beaucoup de pays). Juste un store dans la chambre. - La fenêtre du salon est très haute, si bien qu'il est difficile de l'atteindre. Il faut un marché pied et je mesure 1,70m. - c'est un rez-de-chaussée et le salon-cuisine sont semi enterrés. Cela dégage parfois une odeur d'humidité. - le lit simple et le lit double sont dans une seule piece pour info. - le système de tuyauterie est très bruyant, y compris quand les habitants de l'immeuble utilisent l'eau. Pour les plus sensibles,  je conseille d'emporter des bouchons d'oreilles.

Excellent spot to visit the city center.

Central location, washing machine & dryer available (but noisy!), nice space to relax in. Water pump is noisy when ever you turn the tap on.

You need to be careful in the shower or it can flood the floor, coffee machine leaks. Big issue if you have a car is that the apartment is located inside the ZTL. So you either need to park outside or ask the host to arrange a permit (?cost). We were lucky and found free parking near the theatre.

Good location around the corner from te main Cathedral, restaurants and bars close by, decent-sized shower, comfortable bed. Spacious apartment. Nicola met us, got us a parking spot very close to the apartment, showed us how everything worked and even left cookies, coffee, water for us. He also made it clear we could call regarding anything we needed. We had one issue at the apartment, called Nicola and he came right over on a Sunday morning to take care of it. Also, LOVED having a washing machine AND a drier right in the apartment!

This apartment is a little gem in Palermo. Importantly it is very secure amd reliable. More than expected, we found ourselves in the best location imaginable to experience the city. It had more than everything needed including a little ironing board.

It was all excellent. The host was completely available and very clear.
