Grindal Studio Apartments - Newly Opened Luxury Accommodation

Accessibility, plenty of on site car parking, closeness to the station which was great for venturing out for some great walks. Only half a mile to the beach. Apartment was clean, lots of space, fantastic showers, really comfortable and the fan was an added bonus!

Nothing. We were on the top floor which is accessed by the lift and short flight of stairs which was not a problem.

Location was super .. clean .. friendly .. all-round I liked it so much I could have stayed longer.

Well, let me start by saying that I asked the owner for a ground-floor apartment, and although I was told it wouldn't be possible, I did get one, which is a huge bonus. I contacted the owner several times, and he was always up to the task and helpful. I think that the price for renting the apartment is very good. The equipment of the apartment is also very good. Overall, it is an excellent base for hiking and visiting nearby attractions. The owner also allowed me to park my car practically under the window, which was another plus. Wi-Fi is perfect and without any problems. Excellent gym and pool tables. The kitchenette has everything you'll need. Another nice touch is the welcome pack. Overall, I consider my stay a success, except for... but more on that below.

The building is undergoing renovations, and that's not a problem, but I'm baffled by how the workers who built the apartments didn't level the floors. Throughout my stay, I felt like I was on a ship during a high tide. The bed was a nightmare! The floor was probably not level enough (the bed was tilted to the right) and the hard mattress were causing my back pain. The apartment is like a sauna. You have to keep the window open and the fan on at all times, otherwise you can't exist there. Additionally, the window is very old and often fell down with a loud bang because it has no protection against closing. and it's not about fear, which I got into several times, but the window can simply break and injure the apartment's tenant

The decor. The light. The three windows in the apartment.Bathroom v good and shower wonderful. The comfortable couch. The views. The closeness to the beach just half a mile. Good to be able to travel by train so near the property . The interior decoration of the building. The preservation of the staircase. The laundry room complete with 2 washers 2 driers. Wonderful lift. The billiards room. The property was built as the station hotel. Was then the local boarding school dormitory. Has been saved so well. Lovely lounge. Huge building.

The closeness to the railway line and main road through the village. No bus service at all only trains. The work going on upon the outer property . I believed that the building was completed 2 years ago. There is still much work to be done upon the basement and outer area behind the building. No hangers,no wardrobe or rail. Not very much crockery. No fire blanket nor small extinguisher. No ice box within fridge. No coasters No table mats for hot dishes. No small light bulbs beside bed. Bed not comfortable but good. Bathroom window needs support to be open.

Great bed and bed linen.

No hot water on leaving day. Luxury needs to have aircon. Didn't see any staff but expensive.
