Relatively good value for the size of the property

Property could have been much cleaner. Lots of items left out or around. Carpets weren’t thoroughly vacuumed. Not all trash bins had been emptied (old trash still in there). Three smoke detectors were disarmed and stashed in a kitchen drawer. Property did nothing to plow snow and ice after snow event making hill/driveway inaccessible for half the stay. Washer/dryer was advertised but no detergent. Coffee maker was advertised but no sugar.

It was chill, and it was big.

The drive way coming in and out, that was terrible and somebody should definitely fix that.

The location was excellent, the property was well kept and the beds were comfortable

The down stairs has had some updating. But the light is so low the kitchen fan blades caked with dust. Opened the kitchen curtain for more light and an old mattress was right outside the window. Miss matched light bulbs half that didn’t work. One fire alarm was taken down. No Pans to bake with maybe two odd cups. Glad I brought my own coffee and cups. Hardly any kitchen cooking items. I didn’t want to review it because I’m sure it’ll be booked whenever I need to stay again. I like the location (right off of the freeway). It was CLEAN, quiet, and peaceful. I typically bring my own towels, coffee, etc. The location had these. If you travel a lot, you’ll notice that not all homes provide things that we deem as necessities. I especially like when I was wiping over the table, counters, bathroom, etc with my wipes, there was no residue meaning it was previously cleaned. I wiped the light switches, door knobs and all, absolutely nothing! Everything was clean! It was the whole house but I only used the kitchen, bedroom, and upstairs bathroom. I was there for work and I was exhausted most of the time so I really needed a nice, safe, comfortable, peaceful place to lay my head. The host is amazing. Initially, I couldn’t see the door knob because I didn’t get out of my vehicle but when I did, she explained how to enter the property. I love the lock. It’s an updated version of the one that most of us have. The thing is that someone passing by can’t see the lock and I love that. The parking is directly in front of the property. I don’t have one bad thing to say. The price is outstanding. The location was actually about 45 minutes from where I needed to be but I didn’t care. I had been staying in hotels for work closer to the required location but they aren’t always comfortable. I felt at home in this location. This was the first location where I actually felt comfortable and ohhh the bed was outstanding! I almost overslept on a few occasions. I had to add extra alarms! I know that some people don’t like soft beds but I need a bed that can conform to my shape. It was amazing. It actually felt like my bed at home.
