GBIt wasn’t a usual hotel stay, that is why we loved it. Very quiet and peaceful location, in the evening and morning the only sound we could hear was birds song. Loads of space to relax, fire pit to have a BBQ. We had everything we needed. Bathroom and kitchen facilities in a nearby small building. Everything is private and away from other people.
GBGBThe shepherds hut was lovely. Extremely cosy especially with the log burner. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. Amenities were clean and there was everything we needed was available. After a day of Christmas shopping in Cambridge this was exactly the relaxing stay we needed.

GBGBSuch a quiet, beautiful spot. Host Lisa was very friendly and helpful with local information. The Shepherds Hut was very comfortable and an idyllic place to rest and relax. Sadly, we could only stay for one night but we'd love to go back for a long weekend. So much to do and see locally to keep you entertained and then return to the blissful peace and quite of this lovely little place. Perfect!

GBAbsolutely stunning, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was so relaxing, the hut was lovely 🥰 so pretty. Spotless clean very comfortable. We had the best sleep in a comfortable bed. relaxing evenings sat around the fire listening to the owls. The kitchen is fitted with everything you need to cook & perfect little bathroom with a great shower. The owners of Woodpecker Shepherd Hut are lovely people, very hospitable, at hand if you need them. we had a couple of visits from the lovely frenchies & chickens which was great Just can’t recommend this place highly enough, we will be booking again without doubt. Thank you for a wonderful weekend ❤️ And keep doing what you’re doing, you offer such a unique experience where people can come and totally unwind & comfort xx
