Guleria Kothi at Ganges

The food was excellent, and the location on the river was exceptional

Nice room and friendly staff. Location would have been good if Ganges wasn’t flooded. Meals were nice.

We were not warned that there would be ongoing renovations during our stay. Could be noisy at times. Restaurant was closed, so could only eat in our room and there were not many choices to eat out nearby.

De ligging

De ligging is mooi maar wel in een oude (vieze) omgeving. Dan moet het personeel daar goed op inspelen. Zeker als je hoge prijzen vraagt. Ze moeten nog wel wat leren.

The hotel is very nice The staff and very friendly and efficient

They supplied us with a tour guide from the hotel, who took us to a fake priest who tried to pressure us into making donations of hundreds of pounds. They were very forceful and unpleasant and it ruined our experience

La habitacion estaba ok.

Dado el aumento el caudal del río, hubo que entrar y salir por la ciudad vieja, lo que es un verdadero asco. En esas condicio es, el hotel no debería operar y debería avisar con anticipación. Nos comentaron que se inundó 3 a 4 dias antes de nuestra llegada, día en que debieron avisarnos y darnos la.opción de cancelar, lo que no se hizo. Solo comimos y almorzamos en el hotel y los dos nos enfermamos del estómago. Algo no anda bien con la higiene. El personal fue amable, pero no están muy capacitados para recibir turistas no hindúes.

Beautiful place. It’s far you either need a boat ride or a very long walk from the main avenue about 20 mins
