Palace Hostel by Borrbo

Very friendly hostel with a nice rooftop to relax. The bathroom could use a refresh, but it was functional (although I didn’t get any hot water). Great location!

Pros: great location, quieter at night than down the road toward the main intersection, reception guy was helped when I asked for things. Affordable but the single room was overpriced for what it is. Fan helped keep it cooler and opened windows after dark. Front desk gave mosquito killer stuff.

- guests at the hostel that “live there” are often up late, often making noise, had to tell them pls be quiet at 11:30pm - the place doesn’t feel clean, especially the kitchen. No one cleans up after themselves and staff don’t pick up the slack. The same towel is there all week. Sponge gross and the sink area disgusting - kitchen was ill equipped; had to ask for a spoon and there was one clean small cup. Some pots and plates but don’t plan on cooking - the bathroom in the single room has an open space above it so you hear other people talking in hallways and when they are using the common bathroom, yep, you hear them. Keep bathroom door closed.

La ubicación y el personal, sobre todo el de recepcio , es encantador.

La limpieza quizás algo mejorable como en general en todo India, descuidan el baño pero es de los más limpios que encontré.

Quartier sympa et reposant. Lieu agréable et plutôt bien entretenu.

Accueil pas très chaleureux. Dortoirs un peu surchargés.
