Zen Retreat City Center Near Train

The lady who owns the property is very nice and accommodating. She had a great gesture in allowing me flexibility and checking out later. The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean and comfortable. No A/C outside the rooms .

My story is very particular because I arrived after I couldn’t take my booking in a hostel that day. So, at that point anything would have been better. When I saw the name ‘Zen Retreat’ I thought it was something different not knowing it was someone’s home. However , it was great and fulfilled all my needs

Location! Short drive to the airport. Spacious for a family of 6.

Location was nice.The space is nice. I am sure when not under construction it is even nicer. The owner is very sweet & helpful. The air conditioning was very efficient. It was clean.

They were under construction & it rained the last night which meant it dropped rain into unit by the door. It felt a little crowded with our larger group, but it worked for what we needed it for.

Staff was great, rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast recommendation was on point.

The room looks modern and would've been very nice after it was renovated but some things have fallen into disrepair, such as the flooring, luxurious bathtub and sink. The bathroom is a bit dated. The hostess was very warm and helpful but she also held some very strong views on certain matters. Overall it was an acceptable stay for the price.

Mrs. Eileen was super nice, very accommodating and provided the best guidance on visiting San Juan. The beds slept super nice.
