Zen Cottage Winchcombe Cheltenham

Stayed for only one night but Kay (owner) could not have been more accommodating. Very friendly and exceeded all expectations

Cannot comment as didn’t stay in the end. However the host was kind beforehand and had promised us lifts to a wedding as we were struggling to get taxis, but unfortunately then could not go ahead with this due to her own personal reasons.

We unfortunately had a bad experience with this host, we called beforehand to arrange an early check in, and when we arrived at the property the host wasn’t there and had gone out, forgetting about our check in. We also got a message just over an hour before we were due to check in saying that we would now have to use the downstairs bathroom after previously being advised the bathroom was 3 steps away from our room

Kay est une hôte fantastique. Petit déjeuner de qualité, diversifié, avec des produits bio. La chambre était confortable et propre, et pareil pour la salle de bain privative. Quartier résidentiel très calme. Je recommande !

Made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. Very tasty breakfast and impressive that much of it was homemade and very fresh.

We had a bit of trouble finding it and when we eventually did we were waiting on the doorstep for 40 minutes, even though we’d rang the ring doorbell and tried calling the host twice (we arrived around 40 minutes earlier than our originally expected time of arrival but well within the stated checking in times as advertised).

Large comfy bed and room Robes and slippers provided Great home made granola at breakfast Kay very welcoming

Bathroom not en-suite and was downstairs No lock on bathroom door

Fabulous host! The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was well thought out. The breakfast was incredible. Thank you Kay!
