Très déçus du service. Nous avions réservé pour deux nuits, ayant eu des soucis de santé, nous n’avons pas pu prendre la navette de 17h30 pour rejoindre le camping. Bien que le gérant n’ait absolument pas cherché à nous aider, nous avons pris pour nous et trouvé une solution pour cette première nuit. Nous avons cherché à joindre le camping par téléphone ce soir la mais aucune réponse. Le lendemain matin, nous les avons recontacté pour dire que nous honorerons bien la deuxième nuit. À midi, le gérant nous informe qu’il a annulé notre réservation pour non présentation. Pas remboursés évidemment pour ces deux nuits, dont une qui n’est aucunement de notre faute puisqu’ils ont annulé. Dans les échanges par message, aucune pitié, aucune aimabilite. En discutant avec des locaux, beaucoup déplorent des avis très négatifs de nombreux clients concernant l’hospitalité de ce camping. Rien à voir avec l’hospitalité des polynésiens, c’est bien dommage. De plus, si vous souhaitez vous y rendre pour des raisons économiques, réfléchissez bien car impossible de faire une sortie bateau hors des contacts (plus chers que « Chez nono » notamment), additionner le prix de la navette bateau (obligatoire) + les nuitées, ça revient au même de dormir dans une pension bien plus accueillante, sur l’île principale avec donc possibilité de sortir le soir, choisir ses horaires d’excursions… En bref, à fuir à tout prix.

Superbe Motu, tout l'équipement pour cuisiner, bonne ambiance, petit emplacement délimité pour la tente à l'abri des arbustes. Et surtout, superbe excursion avec Rai !

Nothing. They didn’t reply to me after they told me they couldn’t pick me up to bring to the island after 5pm when our flight arrived at 6pm. Which I understand if the tide is low but 1. Mention it in the description and 2. Help find alternative options to get there/ refund me to get a new accommodation. I tried contacting them 3 days in a row and requested a free cancellation. We were left last minute with no accommodation and he even had the audacity to mark that we were no shows so I would be charged. But you can’t get to the island without them collecting you so if we have no contact and no way there of course we would be no shows!?! And booking.com wouldn’t help me without his free cancellation authorisation.

Great place if you want to experience desert island life and have an authentic stay with nature, beautiful scenery and an unforgettable sky at night. My wife and I love camping so this was ideal for us. If you like luxury, this isn't the place for you... Go stay on the mainland in one of those Bora Boring overpriced huts. Here you feel completely disconnected from everything and you can switch off while meeting like minded people. Great value for money too! The communal kitchen was great for sharing stories, meeting new people, cooking together and playing games. Rai was a great host, good fun and we had a great laugh with him. He even prepared us a traditional dinner. Thanks again, this really was a highlight of our trip. Just read everything and remember the path is simple! Tom and Cathryn.
