Fantastic spot to explore both lewis and harris with all amenities and more. Alisdair and Irene fantastic hosts and we loved the langoustines and fresh baked goods. Highly recomend staying at this authentic outer hebrides experience

"Quiet and comfy cottage in beautiful surroundings overlooking the bay. Very nice landlord."

Great location right after the border between Lewis and North Harris. Only 40 minutes to Stornoway, 20 minutes to Tarbert and 30 minutes to the most beautiful beaches of West Harris. There is a nice forest walk (dogwalk) with various options just 3 miles away. Cottage is located right in front of the sea in a narrow bay, the light changes every 5 minutes, a spectacle to watch directly from the windows. There are some beautiful sheeps in front of the cottage and down by the beach. The landlord, Alasdir is a very nice man and gave me valuable tips where to go and what to do. He even helped me bringing my vehicle on top of the main road as the driveway was covered in snow and the vehicle only had summer tyres.....

I liked everything and want to go back.
