Converted Stables at Peaceful Family Farm Stay

The stables were located around 15/20 minutes from Saundersfoot and Tenby and only 10 minutes from Folly Farm. We were wanting a quiet country stay and this served perfectly. Our bulldog absolutely loved the garden along with our children. There were plenty of cosy blankets to throw over us in the evenings and the kitchen was incredibly equipped. There was plenty of space of a family of 5 and we absolutely will be returning as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

What an amazing find. So peaceful and beautiful location. Lovely garden and the property is very clean and cosy. Beds really comfy and had everything we needed. So much so we have rebooked for next month. Unfortunately we didn't get chance to visit the local pubs but is on our agenda for next time!

So well appointed and surprise little extras- fancy coffee machine, dish washer tablets, tin foil, oil, dish cloths, scrubber, dog bowls etc

Little dusty in places but Tis this country side! Wasn’t sure about extra charge for potential damages and pre check in through “stay link” paid anyway and all went smoothly.

Really enjoyed our stay, the property was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Location is great especially if you like peace and quiet. We stayed and the end of March and goes without saying that the weather can be variable, the upside is that the roads, beaches and towns were deserted. Our hosts responded to our messages very promptly.

Location is great, really isolated and quiet but still close to everything you need. Property is well laid out with the bedrooms the other end of the cottage from the living area. It wasn't totally clear when we booked about the bathroom arrangement but there was one bathroom with a shower and toilet and another with toilet and hand-basin. Not as good as en-suite but worked out fine for 2 couples. The communication was very good prior to our stay and during it. There was a good information booklet provided which contained local info. It was also very reasonably priced.

A few improvements could make it a bit more premium feeling. The TV in the lounge was the only one and was too small (around 40 inches). The heating was on a timer and we couldn't access it initially as it had been covered over and screwed in. This was rectified promptly and we were left in control of the timings. The toilet paper provided was value grade and just felt a bit stingy. For the first couple of days the bedroom half of the property had a slight mustiness so (as another reviewer has commented) it should be aired better. Also a few too many plastic plants and one or two could be replaced with the real thing.
