Taman Fajar Gili Asahan

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. Nestled right in front of the ocean, this house offers breathtaking sunrise views that turn the sky into a masterpiece every morning. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and feeling the fresh sea breeze is an amazing experience. The surroundings are pure tranquility—lush nature, the soothing rhythm of the ocean. It’s the perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature. This place offers a true escape from the chaos of the world. It’s a sanctuary where you can sit for hours, simply listening to the ocean, reading a book, or meditating with the rhythmic sound of the waves. The staff here are warm, welcoming, and always ready to make your stay even more comfortable, really respecting your privacy. Their kindness and attention add a special touch that makes this place feel like home. Will come again as soon as possible!

This house is so lovely we didn't want to leave.

The location at the end of the beach was great! Opposite side of the island from most of the boutique resorts and village, but a short enough walk. The house was lovely, well equipped for cooking, enjoying the surroundings, and comfort. The a/c blew cool, and the freezer made ice with the filtered water provided! You need to understand this isn’t a developed island and you are going to see critters. You will want to come prepared with groceries or be comfortable buying from the limited local supplies, but Edi’s wife prepares amazing meals a day ahead and they’re affordable so we ordered several and took advantage of just relaxing. The staff were very courteous and helpful, great to chat with but also respected our privacy. I wish we’d stayed longer than the 5 days!

The only semi-negative experience was the soda at the staff ran bar on the other side of the property was mostly expired and wasn’t carbonated any longer, so we should have brought our own beverages. Unless you wanted Bintang, or to walk to the resorts, options were limited. Really a small thing…but good to know in advance 😁
