Our third stay in this beautiful place with absolutely fantastic hosts. Suurbraak is a hidden gem as is the Dreamcatchers View. Such a great experience and wonderful friendly hosts.

Charmaine was an amazing host. Friendly and made us feel welcome. Her place is immaculate and provides the perfect comfort and more than required amenities for a breakaway. The place is situated in a little village (farm feel) but nestled in the mountains. So peaceful. We woild definitely recommend.

Cottage is immaculate and hosts thought of everything. Kitchen very well-equipped. Warm blankets and heaters provided for winter cold and lots of yummy surprises too! Plenty of books, games and good WiFi too, with Dstv and smart Tv. Suurbraak is a hidden gem - quiet, with lovely people. We got a real kick out of the horses and sheep walking past every morning. Felt safe and comfortable the entire visit. Sadly we didn’t explore all of the hiking trails in the village itself as it was a bit cold but will return in summer. There are lovely old cottages - some are in bad shape but the streets and yards and well-maintained and more and more are being beautifully restored. Locals are eager to show you around and were super friendly. We enjoyed hearing more about the history. Neighbours rooster woke us up a little early but we got used to him by day 2!

Charmaine is a beautiful soul and has thought of everything to make one's stay as comfortable and private as possible. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of water pressure for the shower. The mountain views are exceptional, and the experience of staying within a genuine historic village, unspoilt by rampant development and tourism, is so refreshing. We will definitely be back - and for a longer stay next time.
